In his rebuttal to President Trump tonight, Charles Schumer, the Jewish, Democratic senator from Brooklyn, New York, once again totally ignored the issue of border security. This is obviously a Democratic /Socialist /Leftist position. However, if one looks at various forums, there is a common theme of calling out Leftist, Jewish politicians for supporting Israel's wall, but not supporting a wall on the U.S-Mexico border, which is designed to do the same thing as Israel's wall; that is, prevent terrorists, illegals and drugs from entering the US . As a result, the positions of these Jewish, Democratic politicians, most of them very actively involved in the Resistance movement against Trump, is building a great deal of resentment, anger and antisemitism against American Jews. In addition, many Conservatives, Republicans and those on the Right view Trump as an extremely pro-Israel president, especially when compared to Obama. Thus, I would say that this is another reason for the frustration and resentment from many on the Right towards American Jews. It's not hard to see how these feelings could easily turn into Jew hatred and antisemitism.
These Leftist, Jewish politicians like Schumer, are bring called out on their hypocrisy, and it's being reflected negatively on all Jews.
At worst, in recent days on the forums, many posters are using this position, i.e Jewish, American, Democratic, politicians supporting Israel's wall but opposing a wall for the U.S, as a reason to bring out accusations of dual allegiances, and question the loyalty of American Jews to the U.S. Furthermore, the Left has done the same thing in recent days, with Palestinian congresswoman Rashida Tlaib saying that all Israel supporters have dual allegiance, and are more loyal to Israel than the U.S.
In conclusion, the public positions and hypocrisy of the Jewish politicians on the American Left, are causing an increase in Jew hatred and antisemitism in the United States.
