Palestinian Jesus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Palestinian Jesus is the idea in Christian and Islamic thought that Jesus was not a Jew, but instead a Palestinian Arab.

Proponents

One Islamic view is that Jesus, as well as the Tanach prophets, were Muslims because they worshiped Allah.[1] Palestinian Authority chairman Yasser Arafat was known for claiming that Jesus was a Palestinian.[2]

In 2019, Muslim activists Ilhan Omar,[3] Omar Suleiman and Linda Sarsour gained media attention for tweeting that Jesus was a Palestinian from Nazareth.[4] Al Jazeera,[5] The Independent,[2] and The New York Times have published articles defending the theory.[6]

Some pro-Palestinian Christians also hold this belief, even saying that Jesus was the first Palestinian martyr.[7]

Criticism

Critics note that the New Testament describes Jesus as a Jew, and the region was not formally called Palestine until years after Jesus' death.[6] The Wiesenthal Center described the NYT's claims as "grotesque".[3]

Who remembers when Arabfag said Jesus was a Fakestinian before the Millennium. He usurped the Xtian celebrations in Bethlehem. It was supposed to be a big celebration throughout the year 2000 but the Oslo War messed it up at the end of 2000. They said Israel drove away tourists but the real reason tourists stopped coming to Bethlehem is PLO terrorism.

Who remembers when the PLO terrorists took over the Church of the Nativity?

The Xtian Bible says Bethlehem is in Judea. Why are people stupid and say it's the "West Bank town of Bethlehem"? Either say Israel or Judea. These people have an affirmative action level of geography. A river bank is in the valley, not he mountains. Only the Western part of the Jordan Valley is the West Bank and it also includes part of Pre-1967 Israel.
