On the way back from Israel, I saw a room that said prayer room and I looked inside. It had a Muslim room on the right and a Christian one on the left. I didn't go into the Christian one but from outside it looked like a chapel since all I saw were wooden benches. I went into the Muslim one and it had rugs on the floor as well as hand and foot wash stations. There were no Muslims there at the time.

Why do Israeli tax payers fund this?

On a related note, Muslims took over a synagogue at the airport a while ago. Maybe that's why they made them their own room.

Absolutely not good.

It's the holy land for Christians too. We welcome Christian pilgrims and tourists and visitors in general.

It's against Halacha to aid in idolatry.

Your halacha is stupid.
It's a good thing that you are not calling the shots.

I didn't make the Halacha.

The Israeli Government should not entice people to commit idolatry just to make tourist money. The same goes with homosexuality. The government actually promotes "gay tourism" to bring all the homos to Tel Aviv.

The halacha is stupid? Compared to what? Worshiping a dead man on a cross? That's what your beloved pilgrims do.
Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

I said "your halacha" because "Binyamin Yisrae", who is not a halachic scholar, has a habit of cherry picking and interpreting the halacha in a way that will make his halacha indistinguishable from Islam.

Other people do and believe in stupid things and things I believe in or do may seem stupid to you.

There's nothing wrong with his halacha. I am a scholar and I'm probably more radical than he is. You do you, but don't pretend that Christians are welcome in Israel just because you hate the Muslims more.

I'm fine with it, it's a room, not aiding in idolatry, containing it. Besides, halacha allows them to visit, not to have citizenship. They can visit and there ca be a place where they do their thing and Jews don't go and it's not a problem, maybe.

Are you a scholar of halacha?

I don't pretend, Christians are welcome to visit Israel, worship according to their faith and do pilgrimage. Why should it bother you? Wouldn't the Jews look like complete a-holes if they said Christians are not allowed to worship in Israel but Jews of course must be able to worship in Poland or Croatia or wherever they may be? That is a sort of attitude I would expect from muslims but never from either Jews or Christians, or Noahides for that matter.

Yes, yes I am. Because I am a scholar of halacha, I know the clear Torah Law when it comes to Gentiles in the land of Israel. I believe you know it too because I cited it on this forum multiple times: non-Noahide Gentiles are forbidden by Torah Law to dwell in Israel and Jews are commanded to expel them. If you are worried so much about what Christians think of you, you can simply inform them that is the traditional Jewish understanding of what God commands.

As citizens. They can visit, and if they offer a sheep to be sacrificed to Hashem, they can. Maybe they'll pray to their idol in Israel, it's not something we do something about. Unless they're promoting it. Keeping it to that room is fine.

They can come but the government should not actively promote activities relating to idolatry. That includes using taxpayer money to build them prayer areas. Churches in Israel should be private Christian places and the government should not promote it. Let the churches promote themselves.

Or course in a Halachic state, churches would be completely illegal in the Land of Israel.

A Christian prayer room has the halachic status of a house of idol worship. It is an obligation to eliminate the worship of idols when it comes under one's domain, including its service, and all that is done for it and pertains to it, as it says (Deuteronomy 12:2-3): You shall utterly destroy from all the places where the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods, upon the lofty mountains and upon the hills, and under every lush tree. And you shall tear down their altars, smash their monuments, burn their asherim with fire, cut down the graven images of their gods, and destroy their name from that place.

They shouldn't be allowed to own our land, that's a serious halacha that Rav Kahane went on about. Better they do it in a room and no Jew goes in there then all over the airport.

You ignored my refutation of your argument. Just a friendly reminder.

You got your point through. They're going to come, they're going to pray, we don't need them to own our land to make it ok, they can have a little room.

This must be an example of the Jewish schizophrenia Rabbi Kahane spoke about. Well, you do you bro.

You prefer Binyamin's position of letting them own massive swaths of our land and heritage? We're in the last days, soon they will rush to burn down their places of idolatry out of embarrassment as prophesied. We aren't required to go burn their stuff down, I asked several Rabbis, they will do it. Your point is well made that if we were supposed to destroy these places, making one is a problem. I see three options, Binyamin's, mine and yours. Binyamin's was the status quo, and I want my land back. Yours will instantly be seen as declaring war and hordes of missionaries will attack, not to mention global backlash and boycotts from people that usually give us stuff. I think giving them pretty rooms where they can pray and slowly nationalizing such foreign-owned land gets us what we want with minimal drama.
