Funeral details
The Supreme Court's statement noted that a private interment service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery. At present no details about a public funeral or a televised memorial service have been announced, but we will continue to update this post with relevant details. Any plans will likely be complicated by safety concerns due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Additionally, the Supreme Court will almost certainly pay tribute to Ginsburg by draping a black wool crepe on her chair and the bench in front of it. According to NPR, "It's a tradition that dates back to 1873 after the death of Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase."
