There is not only one Israel. There are two. Best you can see this antagonism in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. For the Jerusalem half of Israel he is for shure right. This is more than obvious.

For the Tel Aviv part he is wrong, because this part is not so much different from Berlin or San Francisco.

But of cause Israel is better off then other countries, because where in the world you have 50% righteous people?
