General Discussion / Re: Now let’s pick on the Nahal Yehudi unit (Netzakh Yehuda)

Waging war against Amalek is a milchemes mitzvah, obligatory war.

Are you certain the influence goes in one direction only? Can't the Haredim influence the IDF?

Except with the mix of the nations we biologically don’t know who Amalek is. So today the concept of Amalek are those who distract Jews from being in top of their spiritual game. Unfortunately, this could include fellow leftist Jews.

The haredi are controlled by the secular left government and media. They are hated by many.

Evangelicals, although some are well meaning,
are, in fact, a “mixed bag” in terms of attempting
to convert the Jewish people chas v’shalom as
Rav Tovia quite correctly pointed out. I add that
they are unlike Pat Robertson in the sense that he supported
the Jewish people and Israel yet never pressured them to
convert whereas many of “them” are ‘Machiavellian’’ and
yet some others, more overt in their approach and incessantly
persist in trying to accomplish this G-d forbid. This was
  another excellent segment.

This has got to stop and be stopped and
‘at all costs.’ Of course, many will never
be influenced by this yet it poses a problem
and is a (chillul HaShem) for the true
faith of the chosen of the G-d of Israel.
  Well done commentary!

For any Gentiles who do not accept and observe the Noahide Code, the Jews are commanded to expel them from the Land of Israel, and they are forbidden by Torah Law to dwell there (whether they are expelled or not).

It’s hard to do both.

The issue isn’t about studying Torah all day. The issue is that the IDF (not the individual fighters) is a leftist anti religious army that will poison their souls as it has done to many Israelis. Imagine having to answer to Bernie sanders but ten times worse.

Rabbi Kahane taught the ideal is the scholar-warrior. It's not enough to study Torah all day isolated from the world.

General Discussion / Now let’s pick on the Nahal Yehudi unit (Netzakh Yehuda)

This is a Haredi Israeli unit for the IDF which adheres to Halakha but also fights to protect Israel’s borders at Judea and Samaria.

The US justice department is sanctioning them because of “human rights abuses against falestinisns”

From their actions, it tells me that this haredi unit has been doing the right thing and are extra special.

However it doesn’t help the situation with the haredim and the draft law. I’m personally very much against it but would support a compromise that would give the rosh yeshivas and rabbis of various communities permission to choose a small percentage of individuals to join kosher units to help aid in the security of Israel.

I know that for a fact the secular lefties hate the haredim and their intentions are to hurt them and are not doing this for the sake of Israel. The IDF leadership is politically corrupt and weak and immoral and leftists. And we can see how this has led their ineffectiveness and decision making. All grovlers self hating Jews.
