Title: Just checking in on everyone!
Post by: Mishmaat on March 26, 2020, 08:03:46 PM
I'm on self-quarantine and have ceased working (even remotely). I hope everyone else is safe.

Good so far. Only leave the house when my parents or in laws need something. Or if there is a dental emergency I need to run to

I still go out. Walks and cigarettes and really whatever I feel like, or more accurately need to. I'm one of five cases out of a hundred at least that is considered so extreme that the chiropractor opens his office just for me and loses money to treat me, but if he doesn't G-d forbid I'll be a cripple and the worlds of pain I experience will grow. Slightly less boring than the last eight months of lying down and crawling to the bathroom because I can walk again.

One thing going over and over in my head is this: Last yeshiva, had bed bugs there in Jerusalem, cost me thousands of dollars and left me permanently traumatized and with a billion little bite scars from them. This one, back is 97% deteriorated, and have to spend thousands of dollars, or just do what the retard medical doctors say and take pain drug injections the rest of my life and never walk again. What's Hashem trying to tell me? He doesn't want me learning?

I believe Hashem is more likely to be telling you he wants you learning in high class establishments with good hygiene and special care paid to posture while doing so.  I wouldn't ever assume your mitzvahs don't have tremendous value

So the entire time I'm there, yeah the voice in my head kept telling me I have to go to Rabbi Mizrachi's yeshiva, so I call him up, he says yes, I forget about it for a week and then bam the back. Like I could have just lost a finger or something and still be able to study, so fine disobeying whatever this is always ends bad, but why not just take something else and I could go, it's saying if I'm not doing it like that better not at all?

I know that mitzvot have infinite value. I guess my blessings come in a completely not revealed way that my Rabbi and probably everyone else on earth would say they don't see how I got any blessing. Whatever there are good Jews there I saw and Hashem gives them great lives, at least I can put on my tombstone "how good it is to be a good Jew" and no stupid idol on it. But like much better that come right now than just live like this.

We are fine. In our city has the virus not spread so much. Stores and restaurants are mostly closed and the banks and the gouvernment have minimized their activities. 6 cases reported so far.

It's like the 10th time you say it so can't help myself. It's government. Gouvernement is French. Or something other than English.
