The taliban has forbidden cell phone and other electronics because they do not want any evidence of their abused citizens reaching out to the Western World.

I wouldn't be surprised if Iran sets the same rules, especially after their brown shirts killed and tortured their citizens.

That's insane.

I don't think Iran will set the same rules, though. At least hope/think so.

I think with Afghan infrastructure there won't be wide-spread mobile phone connectivity anyway. They might have some connectivity in Kabul. But apart from that.... :::D
