THE family of a 22-year-old Canadian man who was beheaded by a fellow passenger on a bus made a plea for privacy as more gruesome details of the crime were revealed.
A policeman reported seeing the attacker hacking off pieces of the victim and eating them, according to a tape leaked on the internet.
Police have not confirmed the victim's name, but his family said he was Tim McLean, who was returning home to Winnipeg, Manitoba, from a job as a carnival worker in Edmonton, Alberta.
He was killed on a bus last week by a man who stabbed him 50 times and then cut his head off with a huge knife. Police have charged Vince Weiguang Li, 40, of Edmonton, with second-degree murder.
"He was a little guy with a heart bigger than you could know," said the victim's uncle, Alex McLean, reading a statement from the family in Winnipeg.
In the leaked tape of police radio transmissions, a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer refers to the attacker as "Badger" and says he is armed with a knife and a pair of scissors and "is defiling the body at the front of the bus as we speak.
"OK, Badger's at the back of the bus, hacking off pieces and eating it," he says at the end of the recording of about 80 seconds.
Police issued a statement saying they were aware portions of the tape had been leaked.
Officers responded to a desolate stretch of the TransCanada Highway about 19 kilometres from Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, after the bloody killing late on Wednesday on a Greyhound bus.
Passengers said that shortly after they reboarded following a break, the suspect — for no apparent reason — stabbed the man sitting next to him several dozen times as others fled in horror. He then severed the man's head, displayed it and began hacking at the body.

I hope, of course, that the scenario laid out in the preceding entry--a successful cover-up of the truth--does not come to pass. The chief purpose of the scenario is not to make a prediction, but to demonstrate the nature of the forces that are in play and the direction in which things are likely to go if those forces prevail. But there may be other factors that could overcome the PC intentions of the Canadian government. I've learned for sure now, via a VFR reader who participates at Liberty Post under the name brave stranger, that the Chinese language North American newspaper World Journal says that Li is a Muslim. And just now as I'm writing this, as a result of my request made through brave stranger, a paragraph from the World Journal article has been translated into English and posted. But the information is very thin, but nevertheless the first statement by a news media organ that Li is a Muslim. The operative passage is: "Those who know Li Weiquang say that he is a Muslim, married, and since coming to Canada has worked in restaurants and newspaper delivery." I've also heard in the last half hour from a Chinese-American who tells me, based on his seeing the same newspaper story, that Li belongs to the Hui ethnic group, which is Muslim. Here is the Wikipedia article on the Hui people.
So let's say for the sake of argument that Li is Muslim. So long as this information is only in a Chinese language paper and a few blogs, the mainstream media and the government could still black the news out, in which case the cover-up scenario in the previous entry could still largely come to pass.

I would also remind readers that a couple of days ago, when I was ready to believe that I had been wrong, premature, etc., in thinking the suspect was a Muslim, it was Laura's post, "The likelihood of a Muslim inspiration should not be dismissed," which brought the larger reality back into perspective, and she turned out to be right.

Had this happened in America, and again not in dumb down disarmed Canada, some guy would have pulled out his gun and blown Li away....probably saving the life of this young man... I bombard my "Conservative" Member of Parliament with news articles, op-eds, videos and various reads in hopes to inform him of the realities of the World. Sadly, like most dumbed down and socialistically indoctrinated Canadians, I'm afraid he simply presses "delete" rather than actually read the article.

It sounds like Mykey is correct. Also, I heard nothing about that Chinese bus bombing. Ever since I cancelled my cable service I get pure propaganda and blacked out new stories from network television. I think if there is an Al Qaeda attack in China, as much as I don't want innocent people to die, it may wake the world to Islam. I rode Greyhound a few times and decided it is not safe. The Chinatown buses are better. As much as they hound people to buy tickets they will often prevent suspicious looking creeps from getting on their buses.

Hi people, I read some contradictory comments on this thread. So is the cannibal muslim or not?
I would think that African culture is probably more likely to blame in this case.
the guy is chinese. What does african culture have to do with it?
Greyhounds patrons are mostly beasts with African origin. I've been on buses where I was the only one who was not. This is the type of behavior that you see everywhere in Africa. If he was Chinese then maybe he picked up the culture from the others on the bus rather than his own people.

Thats actually kind of funny. An ignorant woman said to me last evening when I told her that I don't want to meet people she said "meeting new people is always good." I replied that I highly doubt that those who met up with Ted Bundy or Dahmer (she probably didn't know who Dahmer was) would not agree with your statement. You accused me of 'letting the neo nazi slide' which first of all wasn't true, and secondly an attack like this thrown at me does not take away at all from the value of my comment on this thread. Which as you yourself even admit, is completely irrelevant to the subject of horselady. So I can't see why you brought it up specifically as an accusation against me. Even more confusing about it is that I DID NOT STICK UP FOR HER. Which is why I told you to reread that episode. Even if I HAD "given the benefit of the doubt" (which I didn't), it doesn't now forbid me from commenting on the forum or making a criticism of anyone else or anything else, on any other subject or that one.
Let me make things simpler.
I think it's inappropriate to make this sick disgusting attack into a joke. If you disagree and think it's fine and dandy to do so, then a proper response could be "I think it's ok to make light of this and make jokes about it, you're too serious KahanewasRight" and then we'll let the moderators decide.
A proper response would NOT BE "Kahanewasright, I fought against horselady and none of you men stuck up for me, so who are you to say what is joking matter and what isn't" or any other similar derivation of this sentiment, which was basically an attack on me - and a baseless one.

I don't think it is a correct judgement of the evil Islam that it was Islam that caused him to behead someone and eat him...Although i di do agree that it is wrong for the media to not report that fact that this person just happened to be a Muslim if he indeed was a muslim.

Agreed. One of the members of this forum sent me a few links discussing the Li beheading. One was some dudes blog site stating that CBC stated that his deeds were motivated by the Koran but then retracted this comment. This is a possibility here as our media is highly distorted and bias however after checking the actual post on CBC's website there is no mention of this statement.
The member further sent me a link to a Chinese blog site where they are discussing that this Li was a Muslim. Now, I still remain skeptical as some stated that this fellow started eating pieces of human flesh which is contra to Islam....
I still remain skeptical. However, should it come out that the fellow was a Muslim, I call on all Canadians on this site to personally email their Members of Parliament demanding them to read the Koran, Hadith and research Islamic history with full justification towards their expulsion from Dar al Harb... ;)

Yes you are right, it is an unfair comparison as there is no real direct proof that he was a Muslim...yet. And also, if he was a Muslim, he'd not eat human flesh as it would be contra to Sharia-Islamic Law.
Jeffrey Dahmer was a sick bastard, however some of the more "tolerant" and "progressive" cultures of the World that we must be "sensitive" to their "needs" do advocate the deed of Cannibalism. It would be more fair to be related to the Ugandan culture or those of Papua New Guinea ;)

You gotta come visit Canada. Come take a walk within their "multi-cultural" centers for some Re-Education. There you will find big posters, pamphelets, books and many presentations advocating a multi-cultural society and how "diversity" is so important. Sadly when one sees pictures of all the happy Mohammadans arriving to Canada from the Islamic Toilet, they tell nothing of their faith: Islam if only a horribly distorted view of their culture....even while Jihad blooms like a rose here.. the media continues to cover it up.
Even better is the presentation of the African Negro coming to Canada still wearing their Basongo garb telling horrendous stories of their empoverished and persecuted lives back home in the Congo (applicable to many other African "communities") but no mention as to why? I live in California and we voted no on prop 57. Prop 57 won, and would have stopped Illegal Aliens from getting every benefit in the book. The Judges overturned prop 57.
Now any illegal alien is granted all the rights that American Citizens have...so the taxpayers here in CA must be forced to pay for their hospital care, schools, food, welfare checks...ect. This is total madness compliments of the LIBERALS. California has become a Nazi State that protects Illegal aliens while imposing outrageous laws for it's own residents.
