The recent attempt of banning the hijab by France Government may show a ray of hope but the inauguration of a huge mosque by the French Prime Minister Francois Fillon shows that western governments are still not aware of Islamic danger.
It is the first time in the French history since 1958 that a prime minister of this rigid secular country has inaugurated a religious institution.
The mosque was built in the Paris suburb where some 28,000 Muslims reside. It will hold about 2,500 worshippers, and more importantly, a Quranic school will teach the Quran to the students. Those who are familiar with Quran may know what kind of education these students will receive!
