Title: Ask JTF For September 2 Broadcast
Post by: admin on June 18, 2007, 02:31:38 PM
BS"D

Note To All Posters: Only one post per person is permitted. Please make it a single, short question.

Chaim would love to answer all of your great questions but (unfortunately due to the number of questions and time constraints), if there is more than one short question, it will have to be moved to the Future Ask JTF section. We apologize for this inconvenience and only wish that every person has a chance to be heard on the show.

Or course, comments not directed to Chaim will be moved into a separate thread under The General Discussion.

Chaim has stated that only one short question or comment per poster will be answered. Please remember that even with these rules, the program is over 2 hours long every week! If you want to post a longer question, unfortunately, Chaim may or may not be able to answer it in it's entirety. In this case, you may copy and paste parts of your question for the following week.

Thank you for your kindness and respect regarding these rules.

Dear Chaim,

Please read the comment paragraph. If you have time, answer the questions below. Otherwise I will ask the questions in the future. But the comment is more important.

I signed my name under the picture of the cat a few months ago at the bottom because I do that on all my questions and it happened to be under the picture of the cat. I explained that the cat in the picture looks like my first cat that my parents got before I was born but you didn't read that far out loud. My first cat is my favorite cat ever because it was my first and my mom's current cat is my second favorite cat because it looks the same. I recall once that on one show, you did a cat's voice saying meow in one of your quotes when you mentioned something about cats still being cats and still saying meow no matter what people think they are. I like cats but I don't really like dogs.

Did you like the cats you had as a child?

Is there a problem of tum'a if people have pet birds that stay in the cage? Did you like the bird that you had that you told the story about? I don't like birds unless they are in the wild.

Yacov Menashe Ben Rachamim,
Chief Administrator.

I'm posting this for Yacov Menashe Ben Rachamim.

In the 2006-2007 academic year I got full state and federal financial aid for the university I go to which is among the cheapest state universities in Pennsylvania (Only about 4,000-5,000 dollars a year compared to my sister who has many loans because went to NYU, and graduated this May.). In the 2007-2008 academic year, I will only get federal aid because there is one class that I took in Spring, 2007 that I will have to take over in the future.

Shalom Chaim,

Thank you for answering my question last week.
This year I am going back to school after a 7 month hiatus. Unfortunately there will be muslims there and most likely they will be in my classes. HaShem only knows the extent to which I hate them and their deathcult. I cannot stand being around them for long periods of time due to their smell, filthiness and  everything they as adherents of a satanic barbaric deathcult stands for. Can you please give me some words of wisdom to help me deal with having to be around our enemy without losing my cool and doing something I might regret?

Thank you for your time.

Dearest Chaim,

Do you think that the August 1st bridge tragedy in Minneapolis (the I-35 over the Mississippi) was the work of Muslims? The collapse happened at the height of rush hour in a metropolis with a large Muslim population, and the fact that the government IMMEDIATELY (an hour after it happened) completely ruled out terrorism made me think they were protesting too much.  ::)

Gimme a break, Dubya. ::) Chaim, you and I both know that if there was any way Dubya and ilk could have denied that 9/11 was terrorism they would have. If bin Laden and al-Qaeda didn't brag about what they did, we would have gotten endless cockamamie explanations of gross flight-control-tower failure or a navigational collapse.

What do you think about someone writing an Ask JTF FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)?

As always you're a gentleman and a scholar. May God bless you.

Dear Chaim,

After Dexter came out with his Karaite nonsense, I started a thread called Answering Karaitism. I wrote an argument against Karaitism based on the Book of Nehemiah which actually shows the Sages of Israel interpreting the Torah and the people listening to their interpretations.

Could you please review it and tell me if there are any logical flaws in my argument. What do you think of what I said?

Hello Chaim,

Hope you had a nice week.  As we all know the September 11 memorial is coming up.  And we are going through the sombre each year but, what good is the memorial in the sense if we do not learn our lessons from 9-11?  We have more Muslims in the United States then on September 10, 2001.  More hell hole mosques have popped up across America in cities no one would ever of dreamed of prior to 9-11.  So what exactly did we really learn after 3,000 Americans were murdered by desert savages?

Shalom Chaim and Thank you as always for your hard work and answering my questions.

I have seen your warnings against having either Hillary Clinton or Barrack Hussein Obama as President, however it seems JTF is not taking any stance in the GOP primary yet. While I know that any GOP candidate is better than a Democrat, there are some GOP candidates who if elected would be almost no different from a Democrat. Shouldn't JTF endorse a GOP primary candidate to help ensure the GOP has the best possible candidate as their nominee? The worst possibility is Mitt Romney who wants to support and empower so-called "Moderate Muslims" such as Mahmoud Abbas. Even Rudy Giuliani is better because he came out against the creation of a "PLO/Hamas Arab Muslim Nazi state" at least for now.

When the USA attacks Iran, do you believe the current adminstation will call for Israel to show "restraint" if Israel comes under direct attack, as so many times before ?

Last week, you mentioned that you lived in Sheepshead bay, Brooklyn.  It just so happens I grew up there as well.  Which brings up my question of the week. I go to the shule there called Pri etz Chaim, with rabbi Melvin Berg. I wonder if you heard of that shule and and familiar with rabbi Berg. If so, what are your thoughts of shule and the Rabbi. I enjoy Rabbi Berg, he always has interesting lectures.

Hey Chaim

Thanks for answering my question last week. If the area controlled by the PA were to be invaded, what do you think should be done with the children who have been educated from as young as 4 or 5 that they must hate the Jews, children who are not old enough to think for themselves and yet are already talking about blowing themselves, what can be done with them?

Thanks.

Chaim,

Firstly, as a long time visitor of JTF.ORG I would like to commend you on all the organizations success, and wish it continued growth.

If you could please explain your views on the rebuilding of the Bait Hamikdash.  If you could please go into detail about the hurdles that will arise in the process.  I am trying to get as much feedback as possible before the process begins, and G-d willing, it won't be long now.

Shalom Chaim,

I am glad you seem to want me a part of the organization because i was getting the feeling that what i was saying didn't matter... and i guess that got me into a state of paranoia when accusing CJD of making a threatening comment... I agree with your analysis, he does have the best of the intentions for this organization so i apologize for the way i reacted later on in the thread i made...

I just wanted to ask a theoretical question,

If G-d Forbid the situation of your getting into Israel came to a standstill and appeared hopeless would you be willing to marry someone of non-religious background or even a gentile to get into Israel?... Last week you discussed the importance and principals being overridden for the good of the Jewish people...

Have a good Shabbos and a good week to all of our members of JTF

Dear Chaim
Ma Hainyanim?

Your aliyah advice has been invaluable so far and I thank you for that.
This week I have a tough question, familiar to yourself and many listeners no doubt. I wish to make aliyah one year after graduation from university which will be 2009 (I graduate in ‘08).
I will be 26 by then. However, my mom says that I personally, should only make aliyah when I’m married and have a wife, not before that she suggests - and she stands by that, she won’t budge at all. What am I to do?
I do of course hope I marry very soon but how long can I wait here in the U.K.? I’m sure I can find a shidduch in Israel!  Thanks and Shalom Chaim.  Zev

Dear Chaim,

May I suggest that you make a series of videos on the morality crisis subject showing what Torah teaches and what situation the humanity got itself into by following barbaric laws.

I think the youtube public will actively respond to the issues of the high divorce rates and illegitimate children, homosexuality and AIDS, premarital sex and abortions that it leads to, sexual immorality, pornography, and perversion.

Hope it helps.

Hello Chaim,
I am truly sorry for giving the impression of divisiveness with my question about Saint Paul last week. It's just that I am very interested in religious comparisons between Judaism and Christianity. I totally agree with your points though. We do have much in common and should focus on our similarities. I will try to think of better questions in the future. Please accept my sincere apology.

Thank you for all your hard work.

Some comments from the eyes of an American Jew in Telaviv:

1. I think the Russian mafioso who have contributed to the moral decay of Israeli society should be firebombed like what the JDL did to the Soviets in the 80's.
2. If you know of any decent kosher chefs, tell them that they can make a killing opening a few authentic restaurants in Israel.  Israelis are the worst cooks! blech!

as a prime minister of Israel, will you allow the sale of German goods in Israel. If yes, will there be an additional consumption taxation for these goods?

Will a Kahanist government pass a law banning ALL missionary activity in Eretz Yisrael (like the failed bill of 1998), and how will they counter christian criticism?

Dear Chaim,
Thank you for answering our questions each week. While I certainly want you to lead Israel I do not think we should start a new dynasty with you at its head, rather I think we should restore Malchut Beit David from among the legitimate lines of descent as confirmed by the new Sanhedrin, and have you as the Chief Shofet or Prime Minister.

Dear Chaim,
A friend of mine and I were debating several Muslim Nazis in a chatroom on Thursday and, I always knew they were stupid - but I didn't know they were this stupid.  One of them said that he hopes Bush doesn't get re-elected.  Not only did he say it once, but he repeated it at least three times.  And another one, after I pointed out that the Kaaba used to be a brothel, his response was "well you Jews cry to a wall!".  After a while - I got tired of their nonsense so I gave them a closing message: "Ok all my Muslim "peace partners" - I'm done for today.   But before I go let me say one thing - when we rebuild Beit Hamikdash and get rid of Al-Aqsa, I'll make sure all of you get a piece. Shalom."

Comments welcome,
Eitan

Chaim, What is your opinion about both, Avigdor Libermam and his 11 dwarves as well as Elie Yishai and his 11 dwarves supporting the corrupt government of Ulmert? Also what is your opinion about the size of the government (I think 26 ministers) and last, what do you think a minister without portfolio does during the day? When you become prime minister what would be the size of your Government? thank you, may G-d bless you and give you strength, and may you make Alia 'Techef u mi yad'

Dear Chaim,
After trying to get a position in accounting for years, the  placement office at NYU informed me that accounting firms only take candidates right out of college in their early 20s, not people in their late 30s. It is so depressing and infuriating to find out that my master's degree in accounting from NYU is worthless. I'm left with a teaching job which I can't stand. This is clear age discrimination but no lawyer will touch the case. I feel like I ruined my life Chaim. What would you do? Sorry to trouble you...Thanks

You praise preachers like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. If they're so great, then why haven't you come to them with your pleas for funds? Surely, with their millions of dollars, they are wealthier than us working-class stiffs!

Hi Chaim why do you believe that jews like Yossi Beillin and Avshalom "Abu" Villan stay in Israel? They hate the country so much. They try to stop the little country from defending itself and their whole point of living is to promote Islamic causes. Why don't they just move to New York or London so they could finally escape their judaism? Thanks so much for all you do and lets hope by next weeks show you are in Israel.

Hello Dear Chaim,

Hope all is going well with you and yours.  This week I would like to ask you about your daily routine of obtaining news.  We all know how biased the mainstream media is against Jews and Conservatives.  Nonetheless, I still find myself many times relying on sources such as the New York Times, CNN, Fox News, etc., because these seem to be the easiest places for me to access breaking information on a daily basis.  I was wondering if you had the same problem, or if you rely on better, more balanced resources, perhaps online (though I also read the Jerusalem Post and think it's in the same camp as the NYT).  Sometimes I feel that by relying on the above sources I am in a way supporting the operations of disgusting, anti-semetic organizations.  Are there any alternatives?  Thanks for all the time and effort as always.  G-d bless.

Ari

Yacov Menashe adds: Try World Net Daily for news on America and Arutz 7 for news on Israel.

Dear Chaim Ben Pesach,

One of the problems with building a right wing movement that speaks frankly about racial and religious issues is people who fulfill media stereotypes and are seen as doing similar things.  Whether they are StørmFrønt-style clowns, or people like Allen T who want to force everyone to follow their religion, they hurt the image of the right wing.  The problem is that these people, aside from being wrong, also produce leftists and therefore fuel our opposition.  How do we go about reversing the harm that self-righteous jerks cause?  Should they be taken head on, or should they simply be ignored?

Hi Chaim. Thanks for the phenomenal response you gave to my question last week. It gave me a lot of insight as to why I find you so appealing and intriguing. I appreciate the fact that you are giving me permission to point out the times that I think you're going too far. Some people on the forum think that I am trolling or taking swipes at you when I disagree with you. But that is not my intention. My intention is to "challenge" you when I have a disagreement, and I appreciate it very much that you recognize and welcome this. Also, while I might disagree with a lot of what you say, I'd like you to know that the one issue that I am in full agreement in is that you should be allowed to emigrate into Israel and you can count of my full support to help this to happen.

Chaim,

Do you believe that the races should be in their natural homelands? IE, blacks in Africa, Asians in Asia, Jews in Israel ect?

I believe G-d gave them these lands, and they should be there. Not to sound offensive to anyone here. It will make the world much more stable in my eyes.

Thank you Chaim.

Shalom Uveracha!

It's an old topic, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on O.J. Simpson's brutal murders of his wife and Ron Goldman.

Do you think he was motivated by anti-white racism or was it just a jealous rage resulting from the fact that he caught his wife having an affair?
