Title: Black MIT professor denied tenure; starts hunger strike

"African-American stem cell scientist James L. Sherley started a hunger strike this morning, demanding that MIT offer him tenure, begin to address racism and censure the provost for his role in his case."

Judging by his picture, he could stand to lose some weight anyway. Black professors should be encouraged to go on hunger strikes.

If the world had to rely on the degrees and accomplishments of "African-American" professors we would all be sucked down into a new dark ages.
