Wasn't Fat Bertram Zweibon's brother once the head of ZOA or was that AFSI? I am not sure old age setting in I guess!!!

Bert Zweibon's cousin, Herb Zweibon, was the leader of Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI).
Despite my political and ideological differences with Herb, when I was forcibly expelled from Israel in 1996, he wrote a letter to Netanyahu on AFSI stationery protesting what was done to me and urging that I be granted Israeli citizenship. Herb, who passed away in January 2011, was a decent person (unlike Bert who hated and envied Rabbi Kahane and worked obsessively for years to undermine the Rabbi).

This I knew about Bert that he was a mamzer & Herb was a genuinely nice guy I never knew he wrote a letter on your behalf which shows in some families some can be totally evil while other family members are menschen!!! I also remember the court ordered convcention when Zweibon,Sheldon Davis & some other person whose name escapes me were tying to push the Reb,ZT"L,HY"D out of JDL & the convention unanimously voted that the Reb,ZT"L,HY"D should remain & Zweibon & his lackies were no longer wanted nor supported by the vast majority of members!!!
