Compared to the woke left, he looks very righteous. But the reality was that he supported bad unJewish causes such as pro obamination unions and pro death of fetuses.

The Democrats of the 1990's look like Conservatives compared to today's Democrats. Joe Biden of then would have been called racist by today's standards.
