Title: Trouble with youtube..

Is anyone having trouble with playing the videos on youtube? I get an error message, but I have the latest flash

No, it's working fine for me. Try using a different browser.

if you're on a mac Safari won't work

you have to turn off your norton or other ad blocker

Norton anti virus , you are turning off ? Good G-d tell me your not shutting off your firewall ? ???

The past two days it hasn't even opened the video.. it's just blank.

Yes.
This is typical though of any websites. And here, of all or some videos.
Use an alternative browser. always have one at hand.

Opera is great, fast. Firefox is v flexible and quite fast too, it takes a moment longer to load than Internet explorer.

I am not saying necessarily to use them instead of IE all the time.. Though that is not a bad idea!! But just don`t stick to one browser. Problems like this are commonplace with the web and web browsers. The web is not a static thing.  It develops and sometimes things are not tested in all browsers, so things are buggy. And browsers have to play catch up too - moreso for new technologies or additions to a language.
