What is the best and worst case scenarios if the Lakota Indians follow through with their secession from the USA?
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,317548,00.html
bearing in mind that 5% of white Caucasians in the USA show American Indian genes (and 10% show black Negro genes).

We have to ask Dr.Paul ;D

We have to ask Dr.Paul ;D
yeah.

Keanu Reeves, Burt Reynolds and Christian Slater are amongst many of still indentifiably Amerindian ancestry who are showing increasing fidelity to their tribal origins, claiming that "The American Indian knows all about the dangers of illegal immigration!".
-
I doubt it will come to anything, there just arent enough Indians for them to win.

Let them, the nation will save a fortune on the welfare checks.

Honestly, I do not have too much of a problem with what they're trying to do. After all, they are not illegal aliens.

10% show African-American genes, that's interesting, where did you find that? 8;)

Interesting. I heard Russel Means speak when I went to the Columbus Day protest in Denver. I liked this bit from him, "If voting did anything it would be made illegal!"

Good for them, I think they should have the right to do it. I'm sure Raulmarrio is happy about this development. ;D

Lakota Indians Withdraw Treaties Signed With U.S. 150 Years Ago
Thursday, December 20, 2007
WASHINGTON — The Lakota Indians, who gave the world legendary warriors Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, have withdrawn from treaties with the United States.
"We are no longer citizens of the United States of America and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us,'' long-time Indian rights activist Russell Means said.
A delegation of Lakota leaders has delivered a message to the State Department, and said they were unilaterally withdrawing from treaties they signed with the federal government of the U.S., some of them more than 150 years old.
The group also visited the Bolivian, Chilean, South African and Venezuelan embassies, and would continue on their diplomatic mission and take it overseas in the coming weeks and months.
Lakota country includes parts of the states of Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.
The new country would issue its own passports and driving licences, and living there would be tax-free - provided residents renounce their U.S. citizenship, Mr Means said.
The treaties signed with the U.S. were merely "worthless words on worthless paper," the Lakota freedom activists said.
Withdrawing from the treaties was entirely legal, Means said.
"This is according to the laws of the United States, specifically article six of the constitution,'' which states that treaties are the supreme law of the land, he said.
"It is also within the laws on treaties passed at the Vienna Convention and put into effect by the US and the rest of the international community in 1980. We are legally within our rights to be free and independent,'' said Means.
The Lakota relaunched their journey to freedom in 1974, when they drafted a declaration of continuing independence — an overt play on the title of the United States' Declaration of Independence from England.
Thirty-three years have elapsed since then because "it takes critical mass to combat colonialism and we wanted to make sure that all our ducks were in a row,'' Means said.
One duck moved into place in September, when the United Nations adopted a non-binding declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples — despite opposition from the United States, which said it clashed with its own laws.
"We have 33 treaties with the United States that they have not lived by. They continue to take our land, our water, our children,'' Phyllis Young, who helped organize the first international conference on indigenous rights in Geneva in 1977, told the news conference.
The U.S. "annexation'' of native American land has resulted in once proud tribes such as the Lakota becoming mere "facsimiles of white people,'' said Means.
Oppression at the hands of the U.S. government has taken its toll on the Lakota, whose men have one of the shortest life expectancies - less than 44 years - in the world.
Lakota teen suicides are 150 per cent above the norm for the U.S.; infant mortality is five times higher than the U.S. average; and unemployment is rife, according to the Lakota freedom movement's website.
The filthy injuns didn't know how good they had it. Lets see how they like it when they no longer get all the state and federal aid they use to soak up. They sat around the reservation for years soaking up Uncle Sam's money and drinking themselves to death. Honestly if this works for them its about time they made their move. They had better start issuing passports to leave the old reservation or they might be considered illegal aliens.

The Indian on Arutz 7 said that Indians started to abuse drugs and alcohol because of the influence of white American culture.
They started to use drugs because they isolated themselves on reservations on welfare instead of becoming a part of American society. The fault for the abuse is their own. By their logic all white Americans abuse drugs and alcohol. They have some nerve talking about drugs what exactly do you think was being stuffed into that peace pipe or whatever its called.

An entry in his journal from September 1498 reads, "From here one might send, in the name of the Holy Trinity, as many slaves as could be sold..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Columbus

Talking about it does not make him a slave trader. When you look at Columbus you need to remember 600 years have passed what may be socially distasteful today could have been readily accepted then. I looked for your statement in the Wickedpedia article but only found a reference by him that the indigenous people were friendly and would make good servants. Whatever the case Columbus was not in the slaving business by any means.
-
What do you think of Columbus overall?
-
He was no saint, just the man of his era, but I willl defend him against anahronic and politicly motivated self-hating and white guilt agenda, BTW Abraham had slaves too Do you want protest him? :D What about Indian tribes massacred one another like, Aztecs and Tlaxalans, Iroquez and Hurons or Siux and Crows so don't give us your leftist (anti anti-rascist) spin to this. That's just nuts :D

They make a good case for their decision, claiming that by Treaty they never were actually part and parcel of the U.S.A., but in fact were recognized as a sovereign nation within the United States.
Therefore they are not "seceding" as such, but are simply declaring their full independence, as is their legal right.
You must understand, fellow forum members, that the Lakota are watching the U.S. committing suicide and it is as obvious to them as it is to us.
Their judgement is correct in this matter, thus they sense that the time has come to end their agreement with "The Great White Father in Washington".
The Lakota see the U.S.A. under W as bankrupt, sexually licentious, psychotically violent, selfish and greedy, and overextended militarily while not even capable of preventing 30 million illegal aliens from taking over our own country.
As the United States does to Israel, so does the United States reap judgement from G-d in equal measure.
Do the skeptics on the forum not see that Bush's demanding that Israel abandon Judaea, Samaria, Gaza, and the Golan, is being met with G-d returning evil for evil?
Last year the United States gleefully gloated over its demand that Israel throw all of the Jews out of Gaza, handing the seaport southern region over to Hamas Nazis.
Almost immediately, the United States was punished with the loss of its southern port region, New Orleans; it's native born forced into exile, its world renowned culture of jazz and cuisine now just a memory; thousands still marooned without hope in trailer park camps.
Perhaps the skeptics still remain skeptical.

That makes sense imo. O0
Abraham did have slaves and one of his famous lines was "I set who free" ;) ;D
Indians did massacre each other and have battles between different tribes. ;)
So the liberals can't say "the white man was eviillll boo hoo" ;D
If it weren't for the founding fathers there would be no cultured, civilized, advanced America. Period. O0

What do you think of Columbus overall?
i dont think he was a great man. he just wanted alot of gold and alot of respect from the spanish king he also wanted to convert the local indians to catholicism. and why do you call them uncivilized is not having advanced weapons a bad thing ?. ok the aztecs did human sacrifices but i dont think any idians in north america did. what to you is considered civilized ?

Good for them, I think they should have the right to do it. I'm sure Raulmarrio is happy about this development. ;D
Theoretically, being natives, and if they have a well defined piece of Land which they claim, and have inhabitted it before the US was founded, it's right for them to seek independence if they wish. Now, let's see what kind of law would they adopt for their State. If that Laws are equal or better that the US' in defending the unborn, Nature, and individual rights.... than I am glad. And I hope they recognise all Eretz Israel for the Israelites in their foregn policy. If they are sincere they must!!!! They claim their lands on the base of the right to withdraw a treaty. The Jews lost Israel without even signing any treaty with Romans!!!!!! If they are honest about natives' right, they must open an Embassy in Jerusalem as soon as they gain their independence. If not, they would be mere hypocrites!
-
Raulmarrio2000: "...they must open an Embassy in Jerusalem as soon as they gain their independence. If not, they would be mere hypocrites!..."
Raulmarrio, this is an extraordinary idea!
The Native American 'movement' has generally aligned itself with leftist causes; more than likey because their cause has been exploited by Marxists.
Why don't you take it upon yourself to access their website and make the suggestion directly to Russel Means?
You can google Russel Means to find their website.

Not to meation the 3 000 000 milion deformed American jews (I do use this capitalisation for the reason) who're more interested in pursining moronic leftist couses which raise antisemitism, intermariage, and assimilation into USA mainstream than in Judaism and Israel. German Jews before WWI where too most intagrated into their host country, And Kaiser's goverment was most philosemtic one in the world. In only 20 years all was reversed and the Holocoust came as conquence. Mass Alliyah from US can reverse the demographic trends in Israel proper, settle all Yesha pushing A-rabs into margin of societey , and propably rescue US too if it's not too late America is to much like Babylon lately. As Torah said Assiria is not G-d, neither is USA.
P.S. Roman Republic was intialy seen by Judean elites as friend and ally against Syrian Greeks and Egipt too.
