Title: Romney's terrible position on immigration and a question
Post by: Trumpeldor on January 21, 2008, 04:15:31 PM
He proposes the good ol' Employer Verification System, designed to enable companies to determine the status of a prospective employee who is a non-citizen.

AS IF THAT WOULD ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!!

What are employers going to do?
a) Say "Oh boy, you're an illegal alien? I guess I can't hire you."
or
b) [wink, wink, nudge, nudge]

So even if he doesn't support McCain's legalized amnesty, his policies are part of the problem-not the solution.

What is a state's role versus the federal government's role in fighting illegal immigration?

He is better than Hanoi John.

McCain should have left the party years ago. He only stayed because he is a conniving opportunist.
