Title: Origin of this Jew
Post by: angryChineseKahanist on February 01, 2008, 09:18:08 AM
OK ancestry experts, where did this Jew, Kenneth Gorelick, come from?
What ancient Jewish tribe do many Jews who look like him come from?
He's got the compressed nose and compressed head.

He could be from any tribe.  Even if Yisroel (as in the kingdom) was exiled, you have to remember this:

Yerushalayim, in Yehudah, was an international city.  There were significant populations of every tribe there.  So a Jew today who is "Yisroel," and not a Kohen or Levi, could really be from any of the other 12 tribes.
