What great singer or group sang this song from the early 1970's.  Here's the verse:

Here's the link to check this great singer out, truly a fantastic singer, one opf the greatest .  His nick name was the "voice"

Come on man,  you have to admit he can really sing!  Great range and vibrato.

Didn't Three Dog Night do Jerimiah Was a Bull Frog?
When I saw them  - I thought of it.
It was popular when I was little.
