Modi'in Central Railway Station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת מודיעין מרכז, Tahanat HaRakevet Modi'in Merkaz) is an Israel Railways passenger terminal curretly under construction. When the station opens, it will be the terminus of the Nahariya-Modi'in line, and will serve the residents of Modi'in. Israel Railways has announced that the first trains from this station will operate on April 1st, 2008.
Modi'in Central will be the first rail station in Israel that is completely underground.

I lived in an area with similar climate and landscape. The color of the soil, even the color of the air is very dear to me.

The new trend everywhere is to place a mall and food court around train stations, which is a pretty good idea because it makes them easier to get to without a car.
