Well, I'm not Muslim, and I don't even touch pork or shellfish. However he hasn'r been studying Judaism and he's certainly not going to reject pork unless he's a Muslim. But it may be a Chillul Hashem to use it as a proof in the campaign, since it was used by Antochus to discover Jews in Chanuka times.
