Title: Can We Find the Chaim CNN Crossfire Debate?
Post by: Ari on April 08, 2008, 03:04:59 PM
I went back to the CNN evil website and their records only seem to go back to 2004.  It would be great to have.  We could try writing them, but I doubt they would cooperate.  Any ideas. O0

I think Chaim once said when he got arrested that the FBI took a lot of his tapes.. Was this taping before or after he was sentenced?

You can still see today that Olmert was wrong,
and Kahane was right here!

Yes that is popular video on zootube. It is strange that they allow Kahane videos but no videos by Kahanists like JTF

Can someone write a letter to CNN and inquire about the video?  I'm sure they have large rooms with tons of tapes of all their past shows.  I would think most news agency type places would archive their material.  It would be great if we could find that video and disperse it on youtube or other outlets as PR for JTF.

I can probably find it. There is this company downtown my friend knows about that tapes everything, and I do mean everything on tv. Their archives go way back.

If someone could tell me the the exact date I can ask.

That's because Kahane is no longer a direct threat to them.

Chaim mentioned the exact date on the Ask JTF show.  I will go back to re-listen to it.  I'm pretty sure he said the year was 1986.   O0

The date was September 3, 1986.

The Crossfire debate was between Chaim Ben Yosef (my underground name) and Jerry Goodman, the National Chairman of the National Conference on Soviet Jewry (the umbrella group that represented all of the self-hating Jewish establishment organizations - ADL, AJC, UJA, Hadassah etc.).

There were two CNN hosts for the debate - Bob Novak (the ultimate self-hating Jew, but he actually was respectful toward me) and someone else whom I don't remember.

If we can get a tape of this debate, it would help us, in my opinion.

CNN gave me a tape of the debate but when I was arrested, the FBI confiscated everything that I had that was in any way related to the JDL.

If you can get it, that would be great. I think our people on the forum would really enjoy it. And it would be nice to upload it to liveleak, zootube and flix.

G-d I hat Bob Novak.  At least pleasantly surprised to hear he was respectful toward you Chaim.  Thanks for posting the exact date.  I hope we can track it down.

If your friend orders lots of tapes that would be great. I have tried all the networks for archive of the JDL, Chaim, Ect.... And they are hard to get a hold of in the archival department. Its also expensive. Abotu 500 bucks a pop at some places.
Yeahhh those places are ridiculously expensive, but my friend works in music school and they have performed and gave interviews for decades across cable tv so they are able to get tapes rather affordably from a certain company. I already had my friend look into it. I'll give an update soon.
