Title: Should burning dead bodies be banned?
Post by: admin on April 09, 2008, 11:28:05 PM: I think it should be banned except when used as a punishment against executed Jew haters such as Eichman and The Palestinians.

When a dead body comes in the hands of Jewish people, no matter who it was, the dead body shoudl be respected and buried immediately. the body was made in Gd's image and should treated as such even if it is the worst PLO terrorist Osama bin Laden...The soul is banished to hell, but the body is the earth's and it was in Gd's image.

i don't know. but as far as i have learned, the body itself is made in Gd's image and therefore, when any soul leaves it, it shoudl be respected and buried in the proper way. Unfortunately, even to people who we hate. Unless you can tell me from a rabbinical source that i am gravely mistaken, let me know.

I thought we should have done that to Arafat and now that it's too late we should bomb his grave.

In that case, Yaacov, I would rather the people who worship at Arafat's grave all be burned alive in an inferno..rather than selectively destroy a grave where somebody is already dead.
