Title: New feature request
Post by: yephora on January 02, 2007, 01:40:48 PM
The old board had a way of encouraging good posters with a slap on the back for a good post ('karma' tho I never liked the term).
Could something similar be implemented here?

Also, and I've asked this before, is there a user preference way to filter out a poster by name so you never have to see their repetitive drivel?
Would it be too hard to implement?

Happy and healthy New Year to all!

There is no need to put me on your ignore list.  I shall delete my account.

Personally speaking, there's one or two I wish were invisible to me when I'm logged in. It's certainly not you, Marzutra.

Does this have anything to do with GTHSaten I do not see him listed in the members roster?

I hope I'm not the annoying person....

All of GTHS's posts have vanished, this suggests one of two things:
1. He has been placed on a global ignore list, I can't see what he could possibly have done to deserve such though.
2. He has systematically deleted all of his posts the deleted his account, I really can't see why he would do this though.

Thats really too bad. He was a lot of fun with his posts.

Why did he do this though, with a relatively unprolific poster on the forum creating this thread?

GTHS, come back!! :o

GTHS, despite the fact that I may disagree with you on one particular issue, you are a gifted writer and an asset to this community. If you're reading this, COME BACK!

Something's not right... Why do the two words 'suicide tangent' pop up into my head all of a sudden?

Isn't that like spam? You just have to deal with it?
I'm a webmaster/sys admin, I can show you spam!
I deal with about 3000 spams a day (before spam filters) and it just becomes second nature.
It no longer bothers me.
I don't know if that makes you feel any better.
But of course I love the fighting, bickering, elbowing, and hair pulling.
