I mean I love eating it...but you know...
-
I'm not a big matza guy, unless I put a bunch of unhealthy stuff like butter or cream cheese on it, which I don't like doing. Love matza ball soup though. My all-time favorite soup, when made right. O0

some people get ill on matza. maybe because they swallow it without biting it into little pieces.
whether you like it or not, it is not very filling. just a cracker. thin too.
I only eat it because I have to..
I did taste a wonderful matza once, it was more like a thick biscuit. Eating it makes the mouth feel like a cement mixer, which for is a big improvement from eating a regular matza.
-
Dan, I found matza to do the opposite of what you said, it sped up my system if you know what I mean. It really irritated me.
-
Thats why their is also wine. Haven't had trouble, because I feel that the wine gives the system a push.
-
I haven't eaten it before. I'd like to try it though. I like falafel.
-
I'm not big on Matzah it is really dry. My favourite passover dish are Potato Knish

Well! I once was foolish enough to make my OWN matza!
All I can say is that do NOT over cook it and do not make it too think or else it will break your jaw when you eat it! Mine came out completely different than my cookbook! It came out so hard and I had so much of it. Even taking a bite from it hurt like heck.
SO I should really try the kind you're talking about q_q...sounds great! O0
if I ever find out the make I will let you know and make a post. I have been wondering about it for years! my friend`s mum knows, she lives in canada, but I am not sure if the matza was from there.
In the meantime, I don`t try to get a meal out of matza. I have eaten fish, meat, avocados, nuts, potatoes ,. No matza necessary
I have eaten matza, but as an excuse to eat cheese, just putting cheese on it. (cheeselets or slices of cheese ) cheese isn`t that healthy, but oh well, it is fairly filling and convenient.
I think the mitzva of eating matza only applies on the first day (or first 2 days if in the diaspora). And You don`t need to eat loads to do the mitzva either. So jewish law regarding eating matza is not that demanding.

I am no expert but
is felafel fried in oil? fried food is dangerous. stop!
if so, then find something else to like!

Drink lots of wine and grape juice! :D

Matza + kosher for passover cream cheese -> THE BEST !!!

Oh yes Matzo bry. Very good. Like pistachio nuts, once you start it's hard to stop.

Fried food tastes good, the fact it's unhealthy doesn't change that.
-
It is better to try to make good foods as healthy as possible. :)
One of my favorite things to eat are fresh fruits like seedless oranges, blueberries, mangos, black grapes, and avocados.
-
Try dipping matza into hot tea for a few seconds. That should help.

I think I'm the only one in my family that likes tofu, but I actually do. I like to make a dish with tofu marinated in teriyaki sauce and cut up onions and green peppers and then wrapped up in a toasted tortilla. I call them Asian-inspired tofu fajitas. lol
I like chocolate and vanilla soy milk too.

That's true. I like matza more each year.
I really like that mazta meal stuff. You just add water and cook it like oatmeal. Add some salt, butter, sugar, and cut up bananas. It's like eating desert for breakfast. Ok... it really is eating desert for breakfast. I love that stuff! lol

is steamed just boiled?
boiled with a lid on?
something else?
I do carrots with a lid on, else they take ages. But fish - salmon cutlets, is quite quick. I take them out the freezer, wash them in warmed up cold water, and then I boil them, don't tend to use a lid. I might try it, I can always check that the salmon is done by cutting it and checking the colour.
makes me wonder.. maybe steamed chicken? anybody tried that?
chicken can sometimes be a bit dry, so that may be a solution!
I am not used to cooking chicken though, would not know if it is done. could be dangerous.
