Title: British exibition showcasing the human faces of British Muslims

Twenty Muslims from London's southern Borough of Southwark are the heroes of the two-week "Peace by Piece" exhibition, which ends on May 3.

The exhibition features photography and audio interviews with Muslims from a wide range of backgrounds as they go about their ordinary lives.

It celebrates the contributions of some 20,000 Muslims of diverse origins who live in the multicultural Southwark borough.

There are people who don't really take kindly to Muslims and Islam, but when you speak to them...they kind of come round."

Saima Mahmood, a final year medical student, has a similar goal from participating.

"People in general think Muslim women are downtrodden and oppressed and we have no opinions, no voice," says Mahmood, who was brought up in the UK to Pakistani and Scottish parents.

With her photo and story, she hopes people will get to understand that Muslims can be proud Britons

I want to ask them what would happen during ww2 if somebody tried to show human aspects of nazis this is disgusting these are the true faces/intentions of muslims

This is always the leftists trick.

In this weeks mirror (spiegel) is a long list of successfull so called Muzzies.

There is not a single real Muzzie on it

You find there atheists, alevites, ahmaddhia, liberals, etc. but no practizing sunni or shia muzzie.

Then they write: Look there are a lot of successfull Muzzies, not all are criminals welfare recievers and extremists. :(
