I am a registered Rep but unfortunatly there is no one really a hard nosed conservative in the party anymore.

I used to consider myself a republican, but I don't know what to think anymore about these stupid parties. Both of them are rotten.

The percentage of people who are registered with no party affiliation has increased.

Registered Conservative.  Used to be a Republican, but they sold America down the river.  I fancy myself a libertarian, but they have no real leaders, which is sad because they are a nationally recognized third party.

used to be a member of the Conservative party in the UK, until I realised that they were (at best) a centrist liberal party, so I let my membership lapse, didn't bother renewing it

I doubt I will ever vote in the UK again  :-\ there is no party expressing anything close to my views
