If Obama had any tact, he would laugh at it and make a joke of the jokesters..but of course when most people get offended over certain things it means that they are weak...I would hate to have a president who is sensitive and gets offended over everything..imagine what our enemies can do to him!

  IT BACKFIRED on them, because we ALL believe EXACTLY what we're saying. So- it BACKFIRED. GOOD. To me it just says that the demoncats, ALSO believe us, but their hatred over a republican more important than Love of Country.

This is pure stupidity.  That magazine is attempting to say that white Americans are stupid and racist. 

In reality HE was the one who brought race into the discussion by belonging to a racist supremecy church for all his adult life. 

HE is the one that the media should be pointing out as racists... not us!!!

Hoped to buy several copies of the Obama New Yorker. I have just been to the local Barnes and Noble and 2 other magazines shops and they are all sold out of New Yorker. I called NewYorker and they are out until Monday and they will then want $9 each for copies what a rip-off!!!    >:(

That's the hilarious thing. They thought they were mocking the fears of right-wingers. Inadvertantly, this became a perfectly fitting capture of Obama as a president. No need for reading into it an extra layer of irony. It is perfect as it is. They were too clever by half.  ;D
