If that happened in east TX it'd be a different story, that's where a lot of the simians live.

Hello everybody from here in the hurricane. (Corpus Christ, TX)
We're getting the outer bands of it so far with heavy rains, wind gusts to 30-40 mph. Some street flooding.
It supposed to get worse tonight, but we're not in the center of it, so it won't be so bad.

We have a small black population here.
My mom asked some people at work why that is, (she's an RN at a hospital) and they said because the Mexicans here don't like them.
She says they're always fighting at work. LOL
But we more than make up for it by the large number of Mexicans and illegals.
If the opportunity  arose, the Mexicans would loot just like the blacks.

This hurricane won't hit Corpus Christi, but we still have a whole season to go. I love living here, but I hate the hurricane season.
The last really bad one to hit here was Celia in 1971, so we are long overdue.
Katrina really scared me. Too close for comfort.

I thought they would do that too Cyberella, but I didn't really want to get into that without someone else saying it first. Even when they come all the way up to where I live, they do nothing but steal everything that's not nailed down.
