Title: Should more common people run for office?

We always complain about the elites who run Washington.  But we also value experience, i.e. McCain, as opposed to inexperience, i.e. Obama(not to mention that he's an anti American, Jew hating pig).  Do we need more average, everyday, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sixpack types to start seeking political office?
