Title: Virginia is very likely to go for Obama in '08
Post by: RanterMaximus on August 08, 2008, 07:16:59 PM: Our Gov., Tim Kaine, a lefty, is high on Obama's VP list. mark warner, a phony double talking Democrat, will win John Warner's Senate Seat, making both our senators Dems. Virginia is not a major player in terms of electoral votes like New York and California, but it's 13 votes could be key in a tight race. Area like Northern, Va are far left beyond words. LBJ was the last Democrat to win VA back in '64.

One possibility is a McCain victory in Michigan, which has 17 electoral votes. If McCain picks Mitt Romney as his running mate, he will have a better shot at winning in Michigan. Romney grew up in Michigan and his father George Romney was a popular governor of Michigan.
