Mccain needs a solid bedrock conservative.  Leiberman is not the answer.

This guy unfortunately won't cut it. He's far from a conservative! >:(

Chaim made an interesting point, that if a Jewish person is in a very high position like vice president, that it will feed into the Muslim and Nazi conspiracy theories about Jews running things, and any time the U.S. took military action, etc. the blame would fall on Jews as a whole even more than it already does.

In addition to what Rubystars mentioned,    I hope that one of Chaim's top two choices for VP............   Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney,   is chosen by John McCain.     All the others I've heard mentioned as a possible VP candidates seem like horrible choices.

I called the Mccain Campaign on Tues ...
and said I was Jewish and supporting Mccain ....
but was opposed to Lierberman (or Tom Ridge) being on the ticket.

The phone answerer said he would pass it along.

I told him it appeared that Ridge was taken off the table though
at least according to what the RNC supposedly released yesterday.

Hopefully Mccain doesn't want to throw the election.
