Title: Poll: Dark-Horse VP Possibilities for McCain
Post by: Lewinsky Stinks, Dr. Brennan Rocks on August 21, 2008, 11:00:16 AM
NOTE: This isn't the same poll that Chaim did, which focused on the front-running pick candidates. These are the second-tier candidates that aren't being discussed nearly as much, but that he might still surprise us with.

Chaimfan

Analysis:

Fraud Thompson: Will help with the paleocon vote, but otherwise this half-dead blob of protoplasm will drag him into the abyss.

Mike Huckabee: Would help a lot with the conservative Christian bloc, but will harm him with moderates and the secular, as well as with young, liberal evangelicals.

Gov. Bobby Jindal: A young face and rising star in the party, but like Chaim said, his extreme youth will make McCain look like a joke.

Condomloser Lice and Gen. Colon Foul: Both would be disastrous, but I can't rule out that McCain would be dumb enough to try one in order to get the schvartze vote.

I am being optimistic by picking Huckabee.  I think the establishment never accepted and never will.

The analysis is humorous and on-target.

But Rice
has been continually opening her mouth and
undermining the Mccain campaign lately.

A few weeks ago she said Obama
could be trusted....Yesterday
she said Biden was a Patriot

Mccain would be an idiot to choose  Rice
given her backstabbing comments.

What about Clarence Thomas?

What about Clarence Thomas?

That'll lose the women's vote.

I would love Mike Huckabee, but I still foresee Mitt Romney.

A dark horse candidate someone suggested to me this past evening is Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.       One downside to Palin though is her connections are with two small states ( population wise ):    Alaska and Idaho.    I'm not familar with Palin's foreign policy positions but she seems Conservative on domestic issues.

Palin would be great as far as getting an infusion of massive media attention and the woman vote ....
The experience factor is the downside ....It would take away
one of Mccain's biggest weapons against Obama

palinforvp.com i think is the site

Marsha Blackburn, and Michele Bachman are 0 probablity longshots
