I heard that he may be the 'new face' of the Republican party.
He is the only Jewish Republican in the house.

Excellent article! I support him wholeheartedly and know of 2 families that live in his state that will too. Let's hope in 2 years, there will be more like him to run for election! Thanks for the article.

Eric would be an EXCELLENT president along with Boby Jindal.    I think the key for 2012 is NOT to try and be moderate... since people may very well be pissed off at the dems in 4 years.

Remember he was vetted for VP.

There was a thread on the forum why he would have been a bad selection for the VP nominee. 

Cantor tends to be better than a lot of the other Jews in Congress.  However, he shouldn't run for president or vice-president.
