Nearly 40,000 eastern European immigrants have taken up employment in Scotland since 2004, when countries such as Poland, Latvia and Slovakia joined the European Union. Most work in low-paid positions in catering, farming and food processing.

Here, in America, we can use quite a few Eastern European immigrants. But, in order for Scotland to retain its cultural integrity, it should secede from the United Kingdom, and not join the European Union.
