Does anyone know what the attendance was to the RNC? It looks much smaller than the DNC for some reason.

I noticed the same thing. Knowing the media, they probally used special camera angles and enhanced applause tracks to make the Dems convention look and sound like more than it was.

CNN & FOX are 2 completely different stations. My parents taped CNN because they were too tired to watch Sarah, Rudy and Mike speak, and I watched FOX live. On FOX, it looked like there was a handful of shvugs as opposed to CNN, where it looked like KFC. To find an accurate number, you must find a non-partisan source IMO.

It's funny, but serious in the same respect. On FOX, you see white people Jews and Non Jews as well as Orthodox Jews. Now go to CNN, you see spanish and black in pretty much majority. If you can get a hold of both tapes from Wednesday night at least. You'll see it. You can almost hear "We do chicken right!" on CNN. O0

btw: Is it automatic banishment for watching CNN? If so, I was really watching for two reasons: A. To hear the speeches again and B: to see (I mean hear) okay both Ms. Palin's speech again. I REALLY enjoyed in all seriousness the speeches of Rudy, Mike and Sarah from Wednesday!

i don't doubt for a second that Obama had a much larger audience. I wonder how many illegal aliens and welfare bums got bused in?

According to wikipedia, the event was held at the Xcel Energy Center, according to wikipedia, it says that the record attendance was 19,434. How would they fit 22,000 people there?
The DNC was held at the Pepsi Center which holds 19,309.
So the Republic Natioanl Convention holds more people, however since theres no need for a basketball court or anything and it's just a podium, they could probably fit an extra 1000 people or so. Makes me wonder if the DNC used a wide angle lense to make the place look much bigger than it really was?
I was at a WWF event in 2001 at Rosemont in Illinois, and I remember watching the screens, the arena looked a lot bigger than it really was on tv because of the wide angle lens stretching everything which made the arena look much bigger.
