I am not a body language expert like Tanya Reiman, who appears on the O’Reilly Factor to discuss the “real” meaning of people’s actions and words, but as an average American, one of those who holds tightly to the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution (you know, Bible and gun-toting), I was a bit taken aback listening to Sen. Barack Obama answer a certain question in his interview this morning with George Stephenopolous.
Obama was trying to blame the McCain campaign for reigniting the questioning of Obama’s Christian faith, and when he ultimately conceded that the bloggers have fanned these flames, he acknowledged that “John McCain has never questioned my Muslim faith”….. “I mean Christian”. To be sure that I heard correctly, the marvels of TIVO enabled me to hear Obama proclaim his Muslim faith OVER and OVER again. To be clear, the statement is not, nor can it be, taken out of the context it was stated within.
Let us remember that this is also the Senator who proclaimed that sounds of the noon prayers toward Mecca are music to his ears.
Herein lies the fundamental problem in an Obama Presidency. It is the uncertainty of the character of the candidate that will create the uncertainty of our future. This country grappled with the Catholicism of John Kennedy and the Mormonism of Mitt Romney. The uncertainty that Obama creates in the hidden nature of his dealings creates an uneasiness about his ties to the Muslim community of the world.
Despite his denials of any lingering association with the Muslim teachings he received as a child from the primary male figure in his early years through pre-adolescence, his stepfather Lolo Soetero, his words often give another message. The years of learning from Lolo Soetero are part of the most formative years of the child’s life.
So, was Obama’s slip of the tongue today just a simple gaffe, or will we see one of the “many faces” of Obama, as a recent TIME Magazine cover implied?
Update: It has been highly noted that come November, we will have a President and/or a Vice President, whose sons are serving in our military. The irony that Obama was the only one of the four candidates without any military connection was not lost, not even to our liberal biased Obama-fawning media. Barack Obama and the Muslim call to prayer
On this day in 2007, Barack Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth." In an interview with The New York Times, Senator Obama recited, "with a first-class [Arabic] accent," the opening lines of this prayer:
"Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet... "
No Christian could in good conscience recite those words or call them one the prettiest sounds on Earth.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
This is HUGE and supports his claims in his books about standing with his Muslim brothers and sisters, and also supports his knee-jerk reaction as having those supporters wearing burkas removed from his stage

I am not an expert on body language either but when someone gets excited or agitated it is much harder to cover up a lie you are trying to. This is why lawyers always try to get people riled up when they are testifying in court. A slip of saying you are something you are not, possible, something such as lying about your age, education, etc. but about your faith. Extremely unlikely. Of course the spin is already in progress to cover up this one but this was much more than a slip of the TAQIYYA,

It's a 9 second clip...it's not enough to prove anything in an obvious way. I would have rather heard the majoirty of this part of the interview if I was someone who wasn't sure about Obama's actual faith.

The real catch-22 situation for Obama arises when he gets the instant and confirmed news about Osama being caught and he has to instantly face questions from reporters about his reactions. His body laguage is going to reveal everything transparently.
Albeit they have already been revealed on many occasions.
