The dinner in tribute to the Iranian midget is brought to you by quakers and mennonites
-
wait i don't see Jewish Task Force on that list!!!
-
First off, today is Wednesday.
Also, I tried calling them up and getting Jews Against Obama on the list. They said it would be a problem due to the partisan nature of the group.
-
I am happy that the Catholics are doing that but why not a lot of rabbis?
-
Wait a minute... who in New York society is actually showing up to honor the world's tallest midget?

Heres the invitation
This is the text of the invitation sent to religious and political leaders for the dinner with Iranian dictator Ahmadinejad:
An invitation to
an international dialogue between religious leaders and political figures:
“Has not one G-d created us?”
The significance of religious contributions to peace
It is an honor to invite you to participate with religious, cultural, and political leaders in a conversation about the role of religions in tackling global challenges and building peaceful societies at an Iftar – a dinner to break the Ramadan fast.
In the presence of
§ His Excellency Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
With contributions from
§ His Excellency Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann, President of the General Assembly of the United Nations
§ His Excellency the Rev. Kjell Bondevik, former Prime Minister of Norway and President of the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights
§ and distinguished religious leaders
This conversation is the fourth in a series of high-level bridge-building and reconciliation efforts that have helped to build mutual understanding between our peoples, nations and religious traditions. It is our hope that as religious and political leaders, this communal meal and exchange of views will enable us to explore faith perspectives for dealing with global issues such as poverty, war and prejudice while deepening mutual understanding.
The dinner will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 109 East 42nd Street, New York, N.Y., on Thursday, September 25, 2008, beginning with evening prayers from several religious traditions. Please arrive by 6:00 pm to clear security. Following dinner and presentations, the moderator will open the floor for comments and discussion.
Please note, entrance to this event is by limited invitation only. Some members of the media have been invited to cover the event.
RSVP by e-mail to [email protected] no later than Monday, September 15, 2008, confirming you interest in participation and sending us your mailing address. After confirmation of your participation, we will send a card explaining procedures for entry to the event.
The Sponsoring Committee welcomes your participation and appreciates the cooperation of the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in co-hosting this event.

Oh cause I was about to say why would mussie arabs support Israel
-
I don't trust most Arab "Christians" but if that group is genuinely for Israel then that's good.
-
Most of these Jewish groups listed are left wing groups.
-
Yes, you were probably told Jewsagainstobama was to partisan a group to put on the list but I am sure that if it were asked to add the Jewish Task Force to the list it would not be a problem.
Many of these groups were also scheduled to participate in Monday's rally but backed out when it was taken over by those Left Wing Jewish groups you spoke of.
I cannot speak for all groups on the list but I am a member of a few of them and they are all very conservative and pro-Israel groups.
Hope to see some of you there tomorrow.

You do so much for us. Thank you good Lisa :)
Don't bother if they have now refused it. One day we will stand at the top of the list. I am shure.

Thank YOU Pheasant for all you do.
I think it's safe to say that even if I had given them the name Jewish Task Force, they still would have given me the same response.
