(Please read update about the San Francisco Chronicle neglecting to mention Obama's willingness to bankrupt the coal industry at bottom of this blog.)
(Imagine if John McCain had whispered somewhere that he was willing to bankrupt a major industry? Would this declaration not immediately be front page news? Well, Barack Obama actually flat out told the San Francisco Chronicle (SF Gate) that he was willing to see the coal industry go bankrupt in a January 17, 2008 interview. The result? Nothing. This audio interview has been hidden from the public...until now.

that is his agenda: bankrupt this country and anywhere there is any money, he will take it and do as he sees fit, w/no one to stop him. i thought he's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO concerned that everyone has a job. this will put coal miners out of work and he is determined to put this country into an unrecoverable recession. how can anybody vote for this maniac.

YES! Not only is Western PA heavily dependent on coal and many there are miners, but Western PA is what Obama needs to get to win...and not only did he badmouth them back in April, but John Murtha (one of his lackies) did too!

I heard it this morning!
This carbon bull is an outrage. He does not want us to be energy independent.
He wants to rob the coal miners and redistribute that money to something thats not even viable like solar and wind.
Solar is not practical because it takes up a huge amount of horizontal space to make a little energy.
If you have a house and cover all of your roof with solar panels, it will power maybe a few refrigerators.
It will not cover your heating or air conditioners because they use a huge amount of energy.

The Cat is out of the Bag. We know now Obama will bankrupt the country so we can't fight any wars, or help Israel. I had to pinch myself to believe Obama is one of them! I know it for certain now! The left already weakened the country by the Community Reinvestment act, and giving mortgages to people who couldn't afford loans. Now they will bring us down by cutting our defenses and killing our industries.
Don't you realize there are enough citizens in this country if we ban together we can defeat this guy and his allegiance to the Radicals!!!!!! Don't give up Vote!

(Geologists recognize that more coal deposits are likely to be discovered in the future, so they estimate total coal resources could amount to 4 trillion tons.)
