Title: Obama: "Iran will not get nukes"
Post by: IsraelForever on November 07, 2008, 05:55:56 PM: In Obama's press conference this afternoon, he said that "we must not let Iran get a nuclear bomb." I felt very good about this. I have two questions: 1) Am I right to feel good about this? and 2) What will he actually do to stop Iran from developing the bomb?

Feeling and knowing are too complete different things, don't let your "feelings" override the facts.

First of all, it is not up to him whether Iran gets nuclear weapons or not (unless he is willing to physically prevent them, which he's not). Second of all, Obama has no possessive investement in ensuring that Iran does not get nukes. Does he have family that lives there? We do.
