Its tough to do... as his face and name are everywhere. Obviously I'm no longer watching TV.. but I still want to enjoy the internet... and I still want to get updated news without his propaganda from the media.
For News ... I use specialized News Google Searches that filter out his name...
Example... to get US NEWS - http://news.google.com/news?topic=n&q=-obama&ie=UTF-8
Also.... His adds are all over the place on the internet...
so I'm using something called AddBlock Plus https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 to remove them.
Any other suggestions?

I just turn the station whenever I am watching something which mentions the big 'O'. Also if the person I am talking to starts to discuss the O'man I steer the discussion in another direction. I have been able to avoid thinking, seeing, or hearing the Obamanation since the election.

I change the channel if he is on or I MUTE the TV so not to hear his voice

I only read World Net Daily, Jewish World Review, Arutz Sheva, and Israel Insider and the Jewish Press all Consertative Papers.
I work in Retail so Sometimes I pick up the Seattle Times or the galce at the New York Nazi Times but I try hard not to really read them.

I have just quit watching TV and cherry pick my news sources.
-
First off, I switched my homepage at work to Dogpile.com. At home, I switched it to Pageflakes.com, which I'm now trying out as a newsreader. I don't subscribe to any newspapers or magazines. I read whatever I can online. Reading right wing blogs and news sites is also a good idea. Here are some news sites I like:
Worldnetdaily
Frontpage Magazine
Drudge Report
CNS News
Free Republic
Newmax.com
Here are some good blogs:
The American Thinker
Atlas Shrugs
Debbie Schlussel
Hot Air
Israpundit
Little Green Footballs
Michelle Malkin
Newsbusters

I have even quit listening to talk radio. It's the same crap everyday from these guys. They tell us how dangerous and awful Obama and the Dems are, which is true, yet they want us to support the same republican hacks who aren't much better.
-
I hardly have time watching the news and hope for the best...I hope JTF is wrong about OBama and he ends up doing the opposite of what JTF thinks he'll do. Of course that's wishful thinking.
-
I don't watch tv or fox news anymore, so now I don't have to hear about him again. Obama will never be my president, just a foreigner who hijacked this country.
-
I am fully exposed to his propaganda. I don't buy a word that this socialist schmuck says. My meaning of news is the most liberal paper in the area. But, I also Read the Weekly Standard, a very conservative magazine.

I hope other people feel the same.

I can shield myself pretty easily; I worry about my kids when they watch TV.
I watch the Hallmark Channel, the Military Channel, The History Channel, and only occasionally Fox and C-SPAN. I mute it if Barack the Usurper comes on the news. Sometimes I watch the Mormon channel just to a) not have to risk hearing about Obama, and if b) I want to see only white people.
I also watch old movies, patriotic videos, Rabbi Kahane videos, etc
I am very lucky in that I live in an area where I am able to subscribe to a regular daily newspaper which is VERY conservative: The Bulletin...http://www.thebulletin.us
Its $75.00 a year and its delivered daily. You can go to their website and get a grasp of how conservative they are just from the headlines. ;D They will send the paper anywhere in the US, even though the paper covers mostly news in the Philadelphia area. They also have a regular religious column by an (Orthodox!) rabbi, as well as a traditional priest.
One of their daily columnists is Herb Denenberg, who is a very well-known local consumer advocate, but is also very conservative. He has been writing DAILY fullpage articles blasting the crap out of Obama.
Herb must be in his 90s now!
Anyway, that newspaper so totally rocks that I push it every chance I get.

My 7 year old came home from school more than once... saying that he hopes Obama will be president... and that taxes should be higher.
His current teacher is a rabid Obama fan. Her classroom i filled with pictures of him. The other parents were mortified when they saw this during back to school night.. and she said it was just for teaching about democracy and our elections.

My daughter's teacher already put Obama's picture up with the rest of the Presidents.
He has them as a border in the classroom.
She complained to me about it. She sits directly facing the picture. :yuck:
I told her to avert her eyes...as much as possible.

Wow you do that?
I don't even associate with morons that support him. I cut them off. I have no patience.

Wow... That seat should be reserved for students in need of torture.

As hard as I try to avoid Obama, there are just times when I can't. I was in line buying groceries today and there where three magazine covers with Obama and his family, all with big smiles as if they were the modern day Leave It To Beaver. :yuck:

Homeschool, homeschool, homeschool.....for more info see http://www.hslda.org and http://www.sepschool.org
If you live in PA, the state will pay for cyberschool (like homeschool but they do the teaching via computer). For an example: http://www.pacyber.org

I turn them around and put other magazines in front of them. The best ones to use to cover them up are the scandal sheet ones like the National Enquirer, that say things like, "Obama's wife has alien baby!"

Thats a good point. Before going in line fore groceries... quickly scan to find one that DOESNT have magazines. They are all vehicles for his propoganda.
