Title: prices drop by largest amount in 61 years (worst deflation since depression)

Obviously.. .much of this is because of the price of oil dropping... but it also is because of a contraction in the economy.. and in the money available via credit.

Right, and I'm still paying $2.00 a gallon for gas.
That's a lot. That's too much.
We should be paying less than $0.50 a gallon.

Yeah, the price at the pump still has yet to drop enough, especially considering how fast the price of oil as fallen so dramatically.

Good question.  When Obama is sworn in, assuming they are still down, the media will make a big deal, as they have remained mute now.  Should they go back up, it will be the fault of Bush to them.
