It is turning into the value of Kleenex.
I had to exchange Dollars into Baht and just almost broke even the value is so low it is just about even. Bad very bad, I don't know long we can have this go on but it will be a very long time to recover.

Yes, so sad, but so true. A dollar saved is barely a dollar earned thes days.

The dollar was 20-30% worse this summer!!! It's actually up from where it was. Right now the US dollar is worth $1.25 Canadian but this summer it was worth .98 Canadian!

Tell me about it!
I was in Europe last summer and I got ripped off big time as the Euro was at an all time High against $$$

Actually.... your getting a distorted view... since the Baht was completely worthless after the Thai economy collapsed in the early 90's. So now... its value... compared with the dollar may seem strong... but its just recovered from terrible turmoil.

Believe me it is bad, the value of the dollar was a bit higher here back in Feb.

Actually... its higher now
In Feb... it was .5 dollars to the UK Pound.
now its .66 dollars to the pound.
In Feb... it was 31 Bahts to the dollar.
now its 34.95 Bahts to the dollar.
The dollar was beaten to death from 2004-2007

By the way... the recovery of the dollar in the last year has nothing to do with regained confidence in our economy.... It has to do with the fact that the dollar was absurdly overvalued in the early 90's and when the dollar bubble burst... it did what all bubbles do... people got frightened of our currency..... and looked to the Euro and the Pound... but now those bubbles have burst.... so things are just in an adjustment phase.
