But now she's been caught out and she's been caught up in her own party's anti-immigrant rhetoric. A left of centre news program recently aired footage from her family in which they deny there ever was any forced marriage. That prompted the Dutch Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk to revoke Aysaan Hirsi Ali's passport.

Mind you, plenty of people will say things just because they want a career or social honours out of it.
