Great video Rubystars 5 stars and comment
-
Is anyone else having trouble with the sound quality?
-
The sound's a little low you might need to turn it up sorry :( My microphone isn't the best which is why I haven't made videos in a while. If you turn up the volume a little it should work though.

Put your volume up

-

Yes the sound is low. I have loud speakers and I raised the youtube volume bar loud and it was still low. To test I played a video of Chaim speaking in Hebrew and it was very loud.
-
Next video I make I'll get a new microphone.
-
I had no problem hearing you Ruby. You made an excellent video!

I had no problem with the sound

Exactly right! It takes a lot of work to make a video. This is an excellent one!

Thank you I'll check that next time. Anything that can help is welcomed. :)
I'm glad some people can hear it fine. It didn't sound so low on my computer but I'll try to boost the volume as much as I can next time.
Oh and thanks CJD, Bullcat, and AmericanHero.

I will listen to it in a minute.. I can't wait.
Now, regarding Mic volume.
You want to both-
turn the MIC volume up..
AND Check the box that says Mic Boost!!
You can reach the mic volume control, from double clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar (famous thing)
Then do options..properties..recording..OK
Now you get the Mic stuff up
Or, you can do options..properties.. check Mic OK
Or, a weirder route, in ctrl panel...Sound and audio devices..volume (that brings up the mic control)
Now, you see the microphone volume control there.
of course turn the volume up.. but also..
do options..advanced controls
Now a button that says "Advanced" appears under the mic volume control.
Click that, and check the box that says Mic Boost
Now it may even be too loud - great, so you can turn it lower.
Windows is good at lowering sound!
-
Thanks QQ that will help a lot.
-
Great commentary! :)
-
Thanks Daleksfearme and Mishmaat. Daleksfearme your great videos inspired me to make some new ones myself. ;D
Also thanks to everyone else who commented if I missed anyone.

What an outstanding video! Great job Rubystars!
And Rubystars has done something which all of our members should do when they upload videos: She placed a live link to our forum in the Description section of the video.
This is extremely important - live links boost our web site and our forum on google and the other search engines!
I urge everyone who has videos on zootube to do the same: You can place live links on your old zootube videos. Here is how you do it:
1. Go to the "Video Owner Options" section to the right of your video. Click on "Edit Video".
2. On the edit page, place one of the following links in the "Description" section:
http://jtf.org
http://jtf.org/e
The first link is for our web site. The second link is for our forum. You can pick whichever link you prefer to publicize.
I know that the link does not appear as "live" in this post because on our forum you have to add "www" for it to become live. But on zootube, the "www" is optional: it will be live with the "www" or without it, as long as you start off with "http://" before the domain name.

5 Stars great Job

Great job!

Shalom sister RubyStars,
FANTASTIC video!! Definitely AWESOME and worth a 5 Star rating!!
 :jump: :usa+israel: :fireworks: ;)
Wonderful commentary and I really enjoyed how you utterly demolished Marbus0 [the Croat Nazi who trolls both pro-JTF and anti-JTF videos] by pointing out how Marbus has pictures of the genocidal WW2 Croat Ustasha Fuehrer - Ante Pavelic - on his home channel!!
I am currently right in the middle of completing my second JTF video and will - G-d willing - have it ready soon!!
-
They should be called "Appease Now". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeasement
-
Thank you very much, Rubystars. This is an outstanding video. You are a tremendous person. G-d Bless you and your family.
-
That was excellent.. -civilized- nations need to be protected, I like it.
I actually didn't have a prob making it loud enough to hear clearly. Though it would be better if recorded louder..
-
Thank you Chaim. I'm really glad you liked it. That's a great point about putting a live link on the side. That way people don't have to type it in, they can just click to see what the video's all about.
Thanks to everyone else too, I'm hoping next time the volume will be louder but I'm glad people liked the content!

Way to go Rubystars !
I have a suggestion regarding low volume microphone- you might want to try to turn on the 'mic booster' I think this feature is found right next to the mic volume in the advanced sound options. Too great a boost creates a loud background noise but a mild boost might increase the recording volume without noticeable noise.

I said that if you read..
But I don't know of any option for "mild boost" or anything like that..
it would help if you said where the option was - though I suspect it doesn't exist.
You check/tick the checkbox , and that increases the volume generally . You can then turn the volume down.
AS I SAID.. Windows is good at turning volume down.
Did you know that you can turn the volume down right to 0? And increase in small increments?
try it.. goodness me.

I don't know how to access it by heart on every system. I can tell you that in my vista (I was not logged into it when I posted) right click at the speaker icon in the right bottom. Than chose recording devices and then chose microphone, the boost appears together with mic volume. I suppose one could google 'microphone boost windows' or similar key and get plenty of good instructions with pics.

Well it won't be necessary. I already mentioned where it is in Windows XP
