Title: Should Jews take part in the St. Patrick's Day parade?
Post by: Trumpeldor on March 13, 2007, 09:44:58 PM
Every year, the Jewish establishment in my city organizes a 'Jewish community float' in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Is this appropriate? Why or why not?

The irish are bog schvartzas.
This looks to me like a diss and a blatant flame. I am not Irish, but my family has always had a certain amount of "honorary Irish" in it (being Hispanic, most of my ancestors were Catholic, and several of them looked up to the Irish). Yacov, you might want to look into this.
