FONTANA, Calif. — Three boys were killed when they fled from police in a car that then flipped over a wall and ended up in the front yard of a Fontana home, authorities said Thursday.
The 14-year-old driver and an 11-year-old passenger were thrown from the car when it hit the brick wall enclosing the yard, the California Highway Patrol said in a statement.
A 6-year-old boy wearing a seat belt in the back seat later died at Arrowhead regional medical center, the statement said.
The boys' names were not released.
A CHP officer pulled over the Nissan Maxima for running a red light on a Fontana street just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, but the driver sped off as the officer walked toward the car, the statement said.
In a chase that lasted less than a minute, the driver ran several red lights and reached 90 mph on city streets before losing control and hitting the wall, the statement said.
Five people were in the house at the time of the accident but they were not injured, authorities said.
Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County about 50 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.

Maybe these kids thought they were playing Grand Theft Auto IV or something. What kind of 'kid' does something like this? I blame the parents for not teaching the basics of right and wrong, and possibly allowing the video game machine to be a babysitter.

I agree, it is the fault of the parents. 80% of today's parents should have never had a kid and are unfit.

Baby Boomer Values at work. Parents want to stay children forever, so they don't grow up; when they finally have children they let them play video games and be anti-social, and this is the result.
The parents didn't raise these kids with strong biblical values, moral values which are a deterrent against this behavior. This is the cost of forgetting G-d in a society.
