Title: Kiruv in melbourne?

Hey all, i used to post here a while ago, stopped when a job i accepted meant i was unable to use a computer for some time. I had expressed interest in becoming a practising jew, but failed to do so due to mostly a fear of scorn if i walked into a synagogue with my lack of hebrew/knowledge of the torah and general working class mannerisms. Basically, i was wondering if any, probabley australian jews, could reccomend a syanagouge in melbourne that takes jews who know only the barest minimum and work with me and teach me from there?
