Why I Keep A Gun.....
Why I Keep Guns in my home and will pick-up one or two more; I will learn to shoot them on a firing range and not
on my street.
My old grandpa said to me son, 'there comes a time in every mans life when he stops bustin knuckles and starts bustin caps' and usually it's when he becomes too old to take an ass whoopin'.
I don't Keep a gun to kill people.
I Keep a gun to keep from being killed.
I don't Keep a gun to scare people.
I Keep a gun because sometimes this world can be a
scary place.
I don't Keep a gun because I'm paranoid.
I Keep a gun because there are real threats in the world.
I don't Keep a gun because I'm evil.
I Keep a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.
I don't Keep a gun because I hate the government.
I Keep a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don't Keep a gun because I'm angry.
I Keep a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don't Keep a gun because I want to shoot someone.
I Keep a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don't Keep a gun because I'm a cowboy.
I Keep a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I
want to be a cowboy.
I don't Keep a gun to make me feel like a man.
I Keep a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
I don't Keep a gun because I feel inadequate.
I Keep a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
I don't Keep a gun because I love it.
I Keep a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
Police Protection is an oxymoron.
Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.
Dialing 911 is nothing more than government sponsored 'dial a prayer'.
Personally, I Keep a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin'. ..

Hi Dawn, I have a gun ( Smitty ) the one you saw and a whinchester rifle. My husband has a few weapons of his own that he brought from New York. I pray that I never have to use them, but if someone breaks into my home..it's BOOM BOOM.
It is our constitutional right!

You have to wear your guns on the street. Life is important and unsafe nowdays, because of the muslim, black and etc immigration. :'( >:(

Gun stores are doing a brisk business in the past few months. I was in a small store a few weeks ago and the place was so packed that it was uncomfortable to be in it. People were buying guns two at a time and not just hunting rifles or shot guns. It seems that people are starting to see we are headed for problems. The store owner himself remarked that the volume of business was more then he could keep up with. With things in the economy so unstable now and seeing how crazy the people became in places like New Orleans when the local government broke down I see why people are flocking to the gun shops.

I agree ProudZionist, you HAVE to keep a gun on you at all times. Only time I don't is when they don't allow, then it is in my car until I come back to it, then back onto me again. I hope I never have to use mine either, but if I have to, I will. The only part that scares me, is you may be cleared criminally, but the family of the person that you shoot, could sue you in civil court!

I also need a gun!! and I will wear it in the evening when I go out with some friends. In my town on 10:00 pm till midnight and after midnight, there are a lot of nazis out there. so I need a gun!

That is very good White Israelite! They killed the bill here in Arkansas, also the Stand Your Ground Law. Beebe helped get it voted down, and now that he is governor, I don't see it standing a chance. :'( At least I have my CCW permit!

i have a few fire arms, i keep it in a safe in my room, for the fear of being robbed and protecting my family. i am licsened hunter and i dont do it for sport i unlike many blacks of new york actually understand the reality of how dangerous they are, and am certified to handle mine.

I agree Zionistforever, they are VERY dangerous! I would never use mine unless I had good reason to do so, and this would be a last resort. I was very afraid of guns for a long time! I took a hunter's education course, CCW course, and practiced on the firing range and am no longer afraid of them. I think if more people carried guns, there would be alot less crime in this country.
Proudzionist, what is a gas pistol? Is this the same as a CO2 pistol?

No its not same. CO2 has 4,5 mm caliber bullett, gas pistol has 9mm (most of them) a GAS BULLETT, CS gas, and CA, or CR gas, a bottle gas spray = with a gas pistol bullett :)

The world we live in is getting crazier by the day and we must protect ourselves.
I'm with you on this issue.

The best way to win in any fight. Starts in the mind you have to make up your mind that you are going to win and live to go home to the wife or hubby. You have to practice practice often with your firearm to the point you can draw and aim and fire your weapon with two torso shots in 1.5 seconds. This can be done.

The farmers, the hunters, the single women, the avid sportsmen have guns for protection or to have wholesome pure venison or other fresh meat. We abide by the safety rules, lock our guns up from our children, and obey the laws of the land.
Guns are not the problem, its the criminals that misuse them, and break the laws. Its the terrorists, the drug dealers, and the criminals who abuse them, not the average law abiding citizen.
My cousin who works for the state police has been warning people that there will be all kinds of social unrest due to Obama's tax hikes, and bailouts. Everybody's budgets will be constrained, and the police over-burdened. Do your self a favor and make sure you have a weapon, and know how to use it safely to protect yourself and your family.

Your first paragraph is ALL common sense and why don't the people in Washington have ANY of it? I mean COME ON ALREADY!!!!!!!!!! I get so aggravated and disgusted by them! >:(
