I thought a superhero movie wouldn't have such horrible things in it but...wrong again. The movie's basic premise is that if millions of people were killed in a nuclear holocaust and the US and Soviets couldn't blame it on each other, that there would be world peace. It has some billionaire who knows what is better for humanity by having to kill many of them so he can create alternative energy and his liberal version of the world.
The movie has disgusting violence against a little girl that I don't even want to mention here. Seriously, you will be a worse person for seeing this. The movie has president Nixon as a five term president and all the evil people are US special ops who kill pregnant Vietnamese women, burn Vietnamese alive, shoot hippies in protests, while enjoying it. They also say that Reagan will ruin world peace and have this sickening sex scene where they have "Hallelujah" playing in the background. The whole movie bashed America and showed a peaceful America with gay relationships ruined by right wing Republicans.
I know it will make millions but if I had known the movie's premise I would not have seen it.
Do not see this movie!!!

I had the misfortune of attending this movie with a friend. I walked out after 40 minutes.

My brother told me yesterday that he saw it on Saturday. He said that it has the most immoral messages. I asked, "like what?". He said he didn't want to talk about it. So I figured in was more typical Hollywood nonsense about how bad America is.

Yeah I know I saw that movie. It had some really strange twists to it. Course overall I was disappointed in it.

Hmm... The book was deemed one of the greatest novels of the past century. Perhaps there's something redeeming in it?
This is not a "superhero" movie. It's a murder-mystery. Those expecting to see something like Spider Man will be disappointed.

I'll be avoiding this film like the plague. Hopefully the Hollywood studios will go bankrupt, they deserve it for becoming communist propaganda debauchery mills.
Then maybe new decent films can be made by independent studios, like the Marvel comic studios that brought us the Iron Man film.

As for Michael Moore, I pray he continues to eat fattening unhealthy foods and may he meet the same fate
as the person who wrote this script. >:(

This is not a "superhero" movie. It's a murder-mystery. Those expecting to see something like Spider Man will be disappointed.
Greatest novel according to whom? Perhaps to left wing baby boomers and people who enjoy watching a little girl get killed really graphically. I can listen to left wing points of view in movies because I'm a movie buff (as much as I'd like not to be) but I'm seeing a very strong turn to the left in many movies. Take "The International" where a former East German Stasi agent under arrest has the NY district attorney and an interpol agent lament about the good ol days of communist East German rule and is only upset that the Stasi agent sold out to capitalists.
The Watchmen is also a painful 3 hours long and even the NYT gave it a D. Communists and anti American novels are now making it to the mainstream, despite 75% of America not wanting to see stuff this left wing. Outward left wing movies like "Redacted" or "Rendition" have been total failures so Hollywood has now put the left wing scripts into seemingly innocent superhero or action movies. Think about "Shoot em up" and its anti gun message or "Shooter" with it's anti American message. They want subliminal messages to reach as many people as possible and sadly, many people fall for them.

Notice the films made outside of the Hollyweird bubble, films like 300, Iron Man, X-Men, whose stories came from the graphic novel/comic book realm where there's no left wing propaganda, and those films are all blockbusters.

Not that there isn't left-wing propaganda in comic books, but you're right that stories that come from outside Hollywood don't have the anti-America mentality.
